Nanlapud impan-ugao tan impanbaleg.

Sica, sica so angited

Na puetang, pag-asa tan panangaro,

Sican dalin cod Pozorrubio.

Say abong con nan-irapan,

Ay-aysing, recuerdos tan anto ca man,

Diad puseg ta so nantequepan

Ag na-eqal angagano poolan.

Natan arawi man ed sica,

Oalad arom ya pasen la,

Pinab-pabli ta ca nin sincia,

Sacsaquey ya puso, siac tan sica.

Aquin casi ag da natalusan,

Siac ta sica, sacsaquey itan.

Ipa-onong da ac, iyarawi da ca,

Nasaquitan so puso tan dua!

Anggapo lay samit na panag-bilay

No nan-arawian ed sinansaquey,

Maong sirin ya say dala iter-ter

Parad dalin con bilay so caputer.

No say pana-ngaro ag da nalicna

Tan pana-ngasi anggapo’y importancia,

Oala sirin so nagawaan,

Parad dalin con bilay so caputer.

Sicaton parad totoon mapa-onong,

Maong ya mansalitan mandun-dunong,

Gabay da tan pan-arawian,

Aputer so anges balet aquilaban!
______________________________________________
Original composition by Watus Robles Solis, written January 28, 1990 in memory of that endearing place in Pozorrubio, where poignant childhood innocence bloomed into maturity, where dreams are nurtured by my forbearers into realities (and therefore became extensions of our own selves) and which was razed by fire on that fateful night of January 27th.

This poem is dedicated to the following fire victims: Mr. & Mrs. Lazaro Gomez, Mr. & Mrs. Celo Aoanan, Mr. & Mrs. Eddie Sagun, Mrs. Marcela Villar, Mr. & Mrs. Adonis Narcelles, and the Deli Bread Bakery.
